Michael became a REALTOR® in 2004 and provides a unique and non-traditional perspective to his clients, especially those relocating to the Denver metro area. Michael is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), and has earned the National Association of REALTORS® GREEN designation and the e-PRO certification.
Prior to entering the Real Estate profession, Michael Kearns was a successful Human Resources executive with leading companies including Merck & Co., Inc., PepsiCo, Qwest Communications, DoubleClick, and Continental Airlines, and relocated from coast to coast before settling in Denver in 2000.
In 2010 Michael received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award. He works primarily with home sellers and new home builders.
Michael has served as a Director Delegate to the Stapleton Master Community Association, and an elected Board Member of the Westerly Creek Metropolitan District. In 2010, Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper (now the Governor of Colorado) appointed Michael to the Board of Directors of the Stapleton Development Corporation. Michael is a past President of the Rotary Club of Denver Stapleton. He is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and the Great American Beer Festival, and has worked with the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, Chinese Children Charities, and the Colorado Irish Festival.
Michael is a member of the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® and the Colorado and National Associations of REALTORS®, as well as the Denver Builder-Realty Council and a Charter Member of the Greater Stapleton Business Association.
