Sidewalk Closure on 35th between Central Park Blvd and Valentia in Stapleton

New Town Builders is preparing to pour the permanent sidewalk on the south side of 35th between Central Park Boulevard and Valentia. They will be removing the asphalt walk on Saturday, (11/19) , forming the new concrete walk on Monday (11/21), and, pouring the concrete on Wednesday (11/23). The permanent sidewalk will then be open for use on Thursday (11/24).

During the construction of the sidewalk on the south side of 35th Avenue, pedestrians – --particularly parents walking their children to and from Swigert McAuliffe International School -- are urged to use the temporary asphalt and permanent concrete sidewalks on the north side of 35th Avenue between Central Park Boulevard and Syracuse, where there is a safe school crossing.
