Stapleton Development Corporation

The Stapleton Development Corporation (SDC) is a private sector, non profit entity created by Denver's Mayor and City Council in 1995 to oversee the disposition of the former Stapleton International Airport. Forest City Stapleton

Forest City Stapleton is a private corporation, selected as the Master Developer for the Community. Forest City works in partnership with the City and County of Denver, DIA, The Stapleton Development Corporation, Home Builders, and various community groups to plan and develop the Stapleton Community. Westerly Creek and Park Creek Metropolitan Districts

The Westerly Creek and Park Creek Metropolitan Districts (often referred to as "The Districts") are the public entities responsible for funding public infrastructure in Stapleton by issuing bonds (and collecting taxes to pay the bonds) and for owning and maintaining community and public assets in Stapleton.

The Stapleton Foundation

The mission of the Stapleton Foundation is to advocate, sustain and realize the principles of the 1995 Stapleton Master Development Plan, more commonly referred to as the “Green Book,” which the Foundation developed in partnership with the Citizens Advisory Board (CAB), the Stapleton Tomorrow Committee and the City and County of Denver. Stapleton United Neighbors

Stapleton United Neighbors (SUN) is the registered neighborhood association for the Stapleton area. The Stapleton Citizens Advisory Board (CAB), along with its sub-committees, was established to provide community input to the Stapleton Development Corporation (SDC). Stapleton Master Community Association

The Stapleton MCA is a 501(c) 4 non-profit community development organization whose mission it is to create and sustain a sense of community within Stapleton through comprehensive parks and recreation management, ongoing community event and cultural programming, and the long-term operation and sustainment of community facilities and assets. The Stapleton MCA is responsible for all property owned by the Park Creek Metropolitan District which includes community pools, town greens, neighborhood parks, pedestrian paths, and parkways. While not related to the Stapleton Master Community Association, there are some 30+ individual sub-associations in Stapleton which were created to manage and maintain common interest property throughout the Community.
